LDS Prophets Doll 8pc./8" - Russian Collectible Nesting Dolls

Believe it or not, the prophets of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints can now be attained beautifully hand painted on Russian nesting dolls.

To hold one in your hand is impressive enough, but when it opens and you find another inside, and another, and another, each doll bringing to light the history of the LDS church through its leaders, one is truly captivated! Get all 15 prophets pictured on one nesting doll. Starting with present day Prophet Gordon B. Hinckley pictured on the largest doll, and ending with the Prophet Joseph Smith on the smallest doll, it has all of the other latter-day prophets grouped together on the five different sized dolls in between. Names and dates of service of each prophet are placed on the back of the appropriate doll. Production Techniques:

Hand Painting/ Decoupage.

Our artists first hand paint the background, then apply various detailed elements, such as faces, which we print on a very thin vinyl adhesive. Such elements are reproduced original works of art we make specifically for nesting doll design.

It is the artist’s magic brush that blends the two forms of artwork together into a unified piece. Finally we baptize each doll in multiple layers of non-toxic water-based lacquer to make a marvelous matryoshka that will delight children and collectors.

The bottom of the largest doll gets stamped with “Made in Russia ” mark of quality, initialed by the artist, and dated like a true collectible.
