12" Bubble Gum Huggums Baby Doll by Madame Alexander

This Madame Alexander Baby Huggums is dressed in a basic soft pink and white pant set with matching headband.

Madame Alexander created the Baby Huggums mold in 1963 as a first play doll for little girls, with molded hair, and a soft lightweight body that is easy to carry and quite huggable; thus the name Huggums.

Today the Baby Huggums still is being made as a first play baby, and is offered in several variations.

Some with the original cloth body style, and others with a cloth body but has vinyl arms and legs, and a weighted lifelike body.
